As our web site says we are "on the High Street and on the Internet". You can see a list of our branches by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page. If you are local to a branch, why not visit us and see some of our range for yourself.

Why have terms and conditions?

We have terms and conditions so that there will, we hope, be clarity in our dealings with you. The first thing you might need to know is who you are dealing with. Well the contract you will enter into if you buy from this site and we accept your order is with a UK company, Osborne Stationers Limited. Our registered office is at 6 Francis Road, Hay Mills, Birmingham B25 8HP and for the record our registration number is 135543 so you can check us out at Companies House if you want to. The other party to the contract is of course yourself!

General Conditions

Because we are a UK based company, only deliveries to the UK mainland can be made by Osborne Stationers Limited. Overseas deliveries and deliveries to the many beautiful islands around our coast are unfortunately outside of our delivery area.

We would point out that any contract between you and Osborne Stationers Limited will be deemed to have been made in the United Kingdom and in the unfortunate event of a dispute between us then the contract shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with English law and therefore the English court shall have jurisdiction to resolve or settle any disputes.

As we do not know how the information on the web site, or any products purchased from it, will be used, we have to let you know that Osborne Stationers Limited will not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which might arise from the use of information or products seen or purchased on or from this web site.

In fact neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Product Information

As you might expect Osborne Stationers Limited sometimes gets things wrong even though we make considerable efforts to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products are accurate. We have to therefore reserve the right to refuse to fulfil your order. We will of course try to contact you and explain what is happening and offer our apologies. So for example if a price has been incorrectly entered by say getting the decimal point in the wrong place, we may have to refuse to supply. We are confident however that this will be rare.

Product Availability

We try very hard to ensure that everything on our website is available for purchase but inevitably there will be occasions when we are out of stock of a product and therefore we will have to refuse to supply because we are unable to. We will try to contact you and advise you of any out of stocks as quickly as possible and we would hope to be able to offer you an alternative product.

Pricing

We expect you have realised as seen on the home page "the prices shown do not include VAT". VAT and delivery charges (if appropriate) are added at the checkout.

Whilst it is our intention for the majority of prices available online to match our branch prices, this will not always be the case. We may have offer prices or product available on-line that is not available in-store and vice-versa.

Accepting Payment

We accept payment by credit/debit cards and by PayPal.

All credit/debit card purchases are subject to standard pre-authorisation checks as you would expect. In the event that your card is refused we shall not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Privacy Statement

Your privacy is important to us. Osborne Stationers Limited does not sell your details to third parties. Of course we have to have some personal details such as your card details and address otherwise it would not be possible to complete a transaction. We only pass that information to a third party, such as your address to the courier, to use only for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
